I'm currently working as a data scientist on the algo team at a dating app called Raya. It's been really fulfilling, getting to work with an amazing team, learning new skills, and contributing towards what I feel is a super ethical and user-first product and company.

My other main project right now is working on publishing some chapters from my PhD in biology where I got to study and learn about ecosystems on islands.

Besides that, I have a renewed interest in film photography, which has been fun (just sent my first roll to be developed in probably 15+ years!), and looking at ways that I can try helping other ecologists and biologists who want to transition into data science.
